Assembly Operator

We are recruiting a hard-working and dedicated Assembly Operator to perform a wide variety of tasks such as preparation or build-up of product parts, sub-systems and components. You will install subsystems, parts and components into the frame on the assembly line. You will also perform checks and inspections to ensure good quality. The position requires use and operation of various power tools, hoists and production equipment. Assembly Operators work in a repetitive, fast paced environment and participate in teams to improve processes.

- Assemble and disassemble equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures using a variety of hand tools per drawings.
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials and other written instructions or procedures to accurately and eciently assemble and disassemble equipment and products.
- Read and understand ID / OD Micrometers, Calibers, radius gages, parallels and Telescopic measures.
- Tap / drill holes per layout using the drill press.
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customers' as well as internal standards and specifications.
- Ability to work across multiple areas of the assembly process.
- Use own judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operations and processes within the limitations of established or standard methods and procedures.
- Communication with team members, supervisors and engineers.

Basic skills

- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly and/or disassembly.
- High school diploma (preferably vocational education).
- Read, understand and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to read and understand ID / OD Micrometers, Calibers, radius gages, parallels and Telescopic measures.
- Experience in using various in process inspection equipment and assembly tools.
- Ability to interpret customer prints well enough to determine appropriate assembly and disassembly sequence for variety of equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret various assembly prints and understanding verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use basic shop math.
- Ability to work as part of the team and independently (upon necessity).

Preffered skills

- Practical experience in high frequency device development (amplifiers, mixers, receivers, etc.) will be considered as a strong advantage and highly appreciated.
- Deep WiFi and other communication protocol knowledge.
- Electronic device development: schematics, PCB routing, etc.
- Understanding of radio frequency device specifics.
